A short story freely adapted from Gardner Francis Fox’s Man the Sun-Gods Made, written in 1946 for the Winter issue of Planet Stories. This was written as a gender-swapping experiment in story-telling.

They called her a god and worshiped her. She neither ate, drank, nor breathed the wild free air. She was mighty beyond belief. Ananda was burden by this, for all she wanted was to be human.
